Pinters 'Celebration' at the Playhouse!

'Celebration' is a one act play and we think it's the first by Harold Pinter that HHTC has attempted.

It will be a workshop, 'Black Box' production using the simplest possible set, costumes and props and exploring how to approach a small, multi- cast play by this distinguished writer.

Celebration is set in a restaurant and focuses on four customers celebrating a wedding anniversary, another couple they meet as well as members of the staff. The play looks at what they are all like as people, examining their emotions, hopes, dreams and disappointments. It's up to the actors to convey a great deal through the very economically written dialogue which is both very exciting and very challenging!

Celebration is very funny but also sad and thought provoking and we must make clear that it is unsuitable for children due to its bad language and adult themes.

Tickets are all unallocated, audience members will be seated upon arrival on a fist come/first served basis with the house opening at 7pm for an 8pm start.

Please note this show is only suitable to 18+ members due to very strong language.
