Welcome to Hemel Hempstead Theatre Company’s production of the Broadway and West End hit show – Sister Act – The Divine Musical Comedy

Meet The Team:

Iain Fowles – Director

Iain has directed several plays & musicals in & around the Hertfordshire area over the past 20 years, several winning NODA & Drama awards. This is Iain’s second time around directing Sister Act, returning to this fabulous musical after 10 years but in fact his third time involved with the show as he has also played the Monsignor.

James Hale – Musical Director

A very experienced MD in the North London & Hertfordshire area working with both amateur & professional groups. James has MD’d most of the modern American musicals, in fact too many to remember. He is also making a return visit to Sister Act.

Gisele Yoh-Fowles – Choreographer

Most HHTC members would expect to find Gisele knee deep in costumes, however she has a long history of performing in & choreographing musicals. This is also Gisele’s third time around with Sister Act having choreographed for Harpenden & also played Mary Lazarus with BTC.

Barry Collins – Producer

Normally seen at HHTC as Technical Director, for this production Barry is taking on the role of Producer & will be your main point of contact production-wise.

6th January 2025 - 7.45pm - Intro evening & Audition material including movement

8th January 2025 - 7.45pm - Rehearsal of Audition material

13th January 2025 – 7.45pm - Rehearsal of Audition material

15th January 2025 – 7.45pm - Rehearsal of Audition material

19th January 2025 – 2.00pm - AUDITIONS

20th January 2025 – 7.45 – 10.15pm Rehearsals commence (according to schedule)

22nd June 2025 – time tbc - Technical Rehearsal/Band Call (prepare to be called all day)

23rd June 2025 – 7.45 - Dress Rehearsal
